Benalla P-12 College was established in January 2013 as a result of all the state government schools in Benalla merging.

The school operates 4 main campuses:
- Avon Street Campus (Years Foundation (Prep) - 4). 57621646
- Waller Street Campus (Years Foundation (Prep) - 4). 57622600
- Faithfull Street Campus (Years 5-9). 57612777
- Barkly Street Campus (Years 10-12). 57612888
ABN 72 163 296 413

A fifth Campus, the Clarke St Campus, is used for some secondary clases and special programs and its grounds and play equipment continues to be accessed by students in Years 5 and 6 each recess and lunchtime.

Our Vision is to inspire and support students to achieve their full potential within a learning environment that is engaging, safe, positive, respectful, inclusive and welcoming. We aim to achieve this by maximising the three key stages of learning.

Our Early Years program, Foundation (Prep) to Year 4, on the Avon and Waller St Campuses provides students with the foundations for learning in all areas of the curriculum. Our focus is on developing successful learners in literacy and numeracy through a rich learning environment. Indonesian LOTE is taught on the Waller St Campus while Indonesian is taught through a Bilingual program on the Avon St Campus. Both campuses access a highly successful Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

The Middle Years program, Years 5 to 9, operates on the Faithfull St Campus and our focus is on adding depth and breadth to each student’s learning in all curriculum areas. It also offers Indonesian LOTE and Indonesian Bilingual in Years 5 & 6.  A specifically Year Y program will comemnce this year to help further address the needs of the Year 7 students.  This program will lessen the number of teachers student will have and focus on developing students' inquiry-based learning skills.  The Year 9 program known as the Year 9 Advisory Program operates on this campus to provide students with the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the community through its community projects. Students undertake individual learning projects incorporating Science and Humanities and participate in community based learning.  Students haver the opportunity to participate in the Future Makers Program which is a 12 day program delivered at the Outdoor School -15 Mile Creek.  The 15 Mile Creek staff will deliver up to 10 lessons to Year 9 students prior to the camp and then 6 lessons post camp.  This program is integrated into the Year 9 Curriculum.

The Senior Years program, Years 10, 11 & 12, operates on the Barkly St Campus and offers a range of VCE, VET and VCAL subjects that will provide students with a variety of pathways to further their learning opportunities. Individual guidance is provided to students when selecting subjects and in helping to choose their career pathway beyond Year 12.

We are very excited about 2016 and what it will bring to the children, young people and families of Benalla P-12 College.
